Vinyl printing is the process of printing pictures on large rolls of coated plastic using large-format inkjet printers. To print high-resolution images, these rolls are carefully coated/treated. Printable vinyl rolls also often feature an adhesive back. This adhesive may be used to adhere vinyl prints on plastic, metal, glass, etc. In addition to flat surfaces, media with specialized adhesive may stick to rough surfaces such as concrete and brick walls.
While printable vinyl has several uses, the following features are the ideal methods to promote this product:
- Vinyl printing allows huge prints. Imagine 200-foot prints.
- Vinyl banners may have extremely high resolution. Imagine enlarging a picture without losing clarity.
- Printable vinyl is low-cost advertising and display medium.
